This document will describe how the new 1.0 MPI engine, benefiting from the Renault know-how, combines the best compromise between weight reduction, low consumption and cost attractiveness.
Based on the 3 cylinders aluminium B family, this engine will offer a power level of 54kW replacing the 1.2L NA, providing much lower CO2 emission and weight reduction.
