Journée d'étude : Study day High Performance Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine English

  • MARCH 19th 2026
  • Université d'Orléans

Save the date!

In recent years, the use of hydrogen as a fuel for internal combustion engines has been generating growing interest. The motorsport, supercar, and high power density sectors are also showing increasing enthusiasm for this technology. The Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) and the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) are even considering introducing a hydrogen category by the end of the decade, where both fuel cell and internal combustion engine technologies could compete side by side.

Building on the success of the previous edition, held on May 15, 2025, at the ESTACA Paris-Saclay campus, we are pleased to announce the fifth edition of this conference dedicated to hydrogen as an energy source for internal combustion engines, which will take place in Orléans on March 19, 2026.

This new edition will focus specifically on "high-performance hydrogen internal combustion engines" for racing, supercars, and other demanding applications. As in previous years, an exhibition of engine and vehicle demonstrations will be organized.

Come and join us for this must-attend event!
