Concours étudiants : Challenge Pitch NeMMo: Propose solutions to decarbonize the mobility of tomorrow! English

  • 2-3 July
  • Rennes - France

Présentation

Join the NeMMo Student Challenge: Innovate for a Greener Future in Mobility!

Are you a Master’s student (M1 or M2) or in the final two years of your engineering degree? Are you passionate about sustainability and innovation? Take part in the NeMMo Student Challenge and help shape the mobility of tomorrow!

What is the Challenge About?

The NeMMo (New Materials for Future Mobility) challenge invites students to propose innovative, practical solutions to reduce the environmental impact of materials in the transportation sector. This individual challenge is open to students who want to make a real impact with their ideas.Your project can address themes such as:

  • Waste reduction in production and usage
  • Lightweight and durable materials for vehicles of the future
  • Eco-design and recyclability
  • Extending the lifespan of materials
  • Any other concept aimed at decarbonizing mobility

Your project should combine creativity, innovation, and feasibility, backed by a preliminary technical and economic study.

How to Participate?

1.Register for the Challenge by sending an email to nathalie.bouad@sia.fr

2.Create a 3-minute video presenting your project in English.Follow this structured framework:

  • Introduction (30 seconds):

    • Briefly introduce the challenge of decarbonization in mobility.
    • Highlight the urgency of reducing transportation’s carbon footprint.
    • Explain the role of innovative materials in achieving sustainable mobility.
    •
  • Main Content (2 minutes):

    • Choice of Materials: Highlight examples of innovative materials (lightweight, recyclable, durable) and explain how they can revolutionize vehicle design (batteries, chassis, bodies, etc.). Discuss their impact on reducing carbon emissions during production, lifecycle, and recycling.
    • Concrete Use Cases: Share examples of how these materials are currently used or could be applied in future vehicle projects. Address trade-offs between performance, costs, and durability.
    • Future Perspectives: Present forward-looking ideas for enhancing sustainable mobility through materials, including emerging technologies or design approaches.
    •
  • Conclusion (30 seconds):

    • Summarize the transformative potential of your proposed solutions for mobility.
    • End with an inspiring vision for sustainable transportation.
    •

3. Upload your video to YouTube as an unlisted video to keep it private.

4. Submit your video link by May 6, 2025 to the jury by posting it on our Fourwaves platform: https://event.fourwaves.com/nemmo2025/pages
