Journée d'étude : Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines for Intensive Use Applications
- 15 MAY 2025
- ESTACA Campus Paris Saclay
Introduction
Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engines for Intensive Use Applications
The replacement of fossil fuels by hydrogen for the operation of internal combustion engines is today one of the scientific research themes of great interest to manufacturers and equipment suppliers of commercial vehicles.
Research conducted over the last ten years has made it possible to define the optimal injection and combustion systems allowing vehicles propelled by hydrogen combustion engines to meet the EU's criteria as zero-emission. Ongoing developments are focused mainly on durability aspects particularly for intensive use applications.
After the great success of the previous SIA H2 ICE conferences with 180 participants and exhibition of engines and vehicles at the PRISME laboratory in Orléans, we are announcing the 4th edition of this conference at the ESTACA Campus Paris-Saclay on May 15, 2025.
This year's conference will focus on hydrogen internal combustion engine for intensive use for road transportation, industrial, agricultural and marine applications. As in 2024, we are expecting an exhibition of engine and vehicle demos.“
