TOPICS ADDRESSED BY V.I.S.I.O.N
A - Accidentology and human factors
This topic aims to bring insights into the visibility and vision problems related to road crashes.
A1. Epidemiology
- How are these problems quantified?
- What are the prevalences and the risks associated with these problems or sub problems?
A2. Accident mechanisms
- How do these problems occur in the accident process?
- Are there proto-typical accident scenarios related to vision and visibility issues?
A3. Vision, visibility and the driver (rider, pedestrian)
- The nature of the problems.
- How is it understood in traffic safety?
- What are the issues relating to driving?
- How is it related to the driver (rider or pedestrian)?
A4. Evaluation studies
- What is the effectiveness of counter-measures or technologies aimed at solving a vision or a visibility problem?
- What are the methods for a relevant evaluation?
B - Lighting systems
This topic aims to present the progress of lighting technologies in 4 themes
