CONGRESS CANCELLED
Recent progresses in simulation of manufacturing processes have considerably enhanced the efficiency of the product-process development in the Automotive Industry.
This progress has particularly highlighted the power of numerical and experimental simulation techniques, often combined, in the various phases of development, research, preliminary design and product process development. It has simply become an indispensable tool to better master risks in automotive innovation.
In this context, the SIA subcommittees on “Simulation” and “Car body” are organizing in October 2007 a 2-day international congress on “Simulation of manufacturing processes and material forming”.
The “Basse Normandie” region has been chosen to hold this event. The automotive industry represents the 2nd employer of the area and has a strong network of competences in materials. In addition, an exceptional evening programme at “Mont St Michel” will be proposed to all the attendees.
This will be a unique meeting place for experts in this field. Large discussion areas and first class moderation are expected to ensure maximum interchange.
We invite you to make a success of this event by submitting one or more abstracts on the following themes, by April 13, 2007.
