International Conference : Alternative Energies for the Automotive Industry

TOPICS TO BE ADDRESSED
Topic 1 - Technologies for hybrid and electric vehicles
1.1. Battery vehicles for urban and/or countryside usage - reversible energy storage subsystems for road hybrid and electric vehicles: life cycle data, safety concepts, recycling technologies and processes for recovering relevant elements
1.2 Electric motor and specific components for road HEV applications (ex: air conditioning management system…)
1.3. Hybrid and electric propulsion system in all types of vehicles (passenger cars, light/heavy duty vehicles, buses): hybrid propulsion systems configuration, energy management, integration of electrical machines and power electronics in advanced powertrain, impact on CO2, pollutant and noise emissions
Topic 2 – Fleet demonstration, framework conditions, standards and regulations.
2.1. Fleet demonstration, field operation tests, involvement of energy utilities and local communities, etc.
2.2. Energy supply : infrastructures and networks : cableless charging, control charging operation and accounting, battery exchange system, charging stations, vehicle to grid (V2G), etc.
2.3. Standardization and regulation: testing procedures, components, connectors, voltage & power level, etc.
2.4. Environmental impacts & life cycle analysis: well-to-wheel analysis, life cycle, process, logistics, renewable resources, etc.
2.5. Market and economic analysis for hybrid and electric vehicles: market projections for different technologies, evolution of customer demand, etc.
Experts in the fields mentioned who wish to contribute to the success of the conference are requested to submit English written abstracts before December 15, 2009. to emilie.bonnet@sia.fr
