The purpose of this paper is to show the results of an innovating Energy Management Strategy based on physical models. This strategy is adapted to different hybridization levels, from a 48V Mild Hybrid to a Full Hybrid. It has been experimentally validated on two extreme cases and has showed both NOx emissions and fuel consumption reduction. To do so it offers a contribution to the state-of-the-art by taking into account transient NOx emissions and after treatment efficiency. These experimental results have been measured on an innovating HIL test bench. It includes a high dynamic dynamometer coupled with real-time models simulating the whole hybrid vehicle and linked to the thermal engine. It allows to change easily the hybridization level and the architecture and therefore to compare several cases by measuring the real emissions of the internal combustion engine.
