Due to the variable demands on both style and performances, it is reasonable to think that LED headlamps would require completely new developments for each project. Based on two examples, one for low consumption orientation and the second one rather oriented on high performances and compactness, this paper describes some standard solutions and modules which are then adapted to enhance style and increase performances, based on customers needs. Different types of solutions are also presented, with both single chip or multi chip led, and lens and reflector appearance.
