SPECIAL EVENT

“Open Source Embedded Real Time Software”

29 January 2008

MAIN OBJECTIVES

Open Source is coming out of its pioneer age. But is it also the case in the ERTS world ?
This special day in ERTS 08 conference would like to address the multiple aspects of this question :
  • what's new in the projects and organizations dedicated to open source and embedded (critical) software ?
  • organizations delivering either embedded avionics OS real time software or OS development tools for ERTS ?
  • impact of the OS in the business organization ?
  • what about the international context and collaboration ?
  • how OS is considered by the companies developing or integrating ERTS ?
  • is there any legal concerns specific to OS in ERTS ?
  • what about Safety and Security with OS ERTS?
