Regional committees ensure SIA coverage throughout the country.
They play a vital role in representing and coordinating the SIA’s actions in their respective region.

The assignments of the Regional Committees can be summarized as follows:

• Representing the SIA, and coordinating the network of members at a local level
  
• Promoting the SIA at a local level in companies, research centres, schools, universities and business parks
• Recruiting new members
• Supporting local Student Committees
• Organizing regional events (conferences, factory tours, etc.)
• Helping the Technical committees organize events in the various regions
